I only read the negative reviews after I bought it online, but when I opened it, at first I couldn't dress the doll automatically, but there is a part that you are pushing too much hard (until it clicks three times in order to get her to dress up dolls). He said a review that you open the head, but my doll doesn't have this problem.

I really can't say whether or not this is educational, because while I know it requires manual dexterity, I don't know how that relates to intellectual development. that said, children have a lot of fun with this toy. the animals are adorable, and there are plenty of things to do for kids. young children love when you play with a toy, think they know and then find something new that hadn't noticed before.
